Denatured alcohol is ethanol (ethyl alcohol) made unfit for human consumption by adding one or more chemicals (denaturants) to it. Denaturing is done due to taxing and government regulation in different countries. We supply denatured alcohol to our clients even in countries where undenatured alcohol is prohibited for multiple uses other than human consumption. There are multiple options for denaturing alcohol like isopropanol, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone, pyridine, benzene, diethyl phthalate, and naphtha.
